I use it on a Mossberg 500 (shotgun)--its gets the job done, for a shotgun any downfalls for being a low end red dot doesnt play a big role.
For the price this is really a great red dot, but it does, as expect have low end glass and a dot that is slightly smeared.
I cant comment about it holding zero since, I have put it though much use, but for a shotgun any tiny moments that may occur are not causing negative effects at 25 yards with slugs and 00 buck.

VERY NICE SIGHT, LOW PRICE. I HAVE MINE MOUNTED ON A MOSSBERG 500. I HAVE ABOUT 200 ROUNDS THROUGH MY GUN WITH THIS SIGHT MOUNTED WITH NO PROBLEMS. FOR DISTANCE SLUG USE, THIS SIGHT SHINES. DURABLE.

Wanted a red dot on my AR-15 but on a budget choices are limited. I decided to try the BKRD42 on it. I have shot apox 1000 rounds with it installed. It stays set and have had zero problems with it so far. I am very happy with the purchase. It does the job I wanted and at an affordable price.

The 3032 was dead from the box. Inserted new battary and red dot was not very bright in day light.
