Pros:  Cheap and effective, well made
Cons:  dot is not smooth

I use it on a Mossberg 500 (shotgun)--its gets the job done, for a shotgun any downfalls for being a low end red dot doesnt play a big role. For the price this is really a great red dot, but it does, as expect have low end glass and a dot that is slightly smeared. I cant comment about it holding zero since, I have put it though much use, but for a shotgun any tiny moments that may occur are not causing negative effects at 25 yards with slugs and 00 buck.
