about average for an inexpensive scope. If you have purchased more expensive scopes in the past you will understand my comment. Clarity is so so but you can get by with it if you don't want to put an expensive scope on a midpriced rifle....

Tasco 6-24x42

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on December 13, 2012
It is a $90.00 scope. If you want a thousand dollar scope then save your money. For my ruger 10/22 it is great at 100. Can't wait to see what the combo does at 200. The clarity on mine was very nice. Easy to focus and the indents on the adjustment turrets are very crisp. Better so far than my redfield scope. Just remember like everything else you get what you pay. In this instance I got a little more to my happy surprise
Pros: Overall quality for the money
Cons: None yet...

Good AFFORDABLE Target Scope

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MI Written on March 12, 2012
This is the second 6-24 Tasco I've had and I have nothing but good to say about both. For the money, you can't beat them. Zoom's in and presents a good pinpoint for aiming (important at long range). Only problem I found is you have to hold your eye at "just the right" spot to get full view. Small price to pay.
Pros: High magnification, cheap
Cons: Very sensitive to eye position....
