I've had good luck with Tasco Pro Point scopes for long term durability in the past. Even on high recoil 44 mag revolver. Decided to try one of these as a fill in optic to put on new AR builds while saving for more expensive scopes and RDS.
This appears to be a good Red Dot sight for the money. But a couple simple changes could have made it a cut above other available budget Red Dot sights. Seems to be better constructed than older Pro Points. Optical clarity is good.
Dot intensity does not adjust as low as other Pro Points. Power and brightnes buttons work well. Power button turns on almost too easy though and I think it's possible to accidentally activate it and run battery dead. Might have auto shut off but don't know because wrong manual is provided. Other model Pro Points don't so assuming this one doesn't. Provided rings are decent quality but too low for AR15s so that is an added expense. Wish it used a more common battery. Does look very nice on rifle though.
Pros: Solid, durable optic. Priced about right. Cheap alternative for AR15 rifles. Good scope caps. Comes with turret cap tethers.
Cons: Brightness level doesn't go low enough. Had to purchase different rings for AR15. Wrong instruction manual provided. Could easily be accidentally turned on, running battery dead....
