I got this after reading a few of the reviews. I had seen one up close and finally decided to get the PDTS after having a cheap clonepoint break on me at the range.
The Good: its pretty rugged and uses more readily available CR2032 cells. One fresh cell will last over 700 hours on a setting of "2" or just over 400 hours on a setting of "7". "2" is for indoors, "7" is for outdoors.
The Bad: The 5MOA dot is rather large when compared to an Aimpoint CompM3, but, its not unusable. Putting it inline with a 3x or more magnifier will work, but, magnifies the dot at well.
I would HIGHLY recommend folks get one of these for their first "dot" on their AR or other firearm.
Accurate AND Affordable Sight.

I bought this to complement my Stag AR-15. A friend who has a Colt AR-15 with an EOTech sight insisted that he could outshoot me anytime because of his "high quality products". I have no need for NVD's and needless to say, my cheaper "low quality" combination produced much greater results than his more expensive equipment. It goes to show that the user, not the tool, is the most important part of this equation. This sight has not let me down, and I have saved a lot of money by buying it instead of others.

This scope has consistently performed extremely well for me. Very high quality, reliable scope and the price is right. Would definitely recommend.
