I use the Tasco 780200T Microscope to examine electronic circuitry fractures on integrated circuit boards. The Optical Tower Assembly detaches for convenience. I can actuate a snapshot without touching the microscope (software). 120x magnification is much more than I need to detect minute ruptures along soldering runs on printed circuit boards. Optical clarity is usable, but could be better. The device also needs a means of very fine focusing adjustment as the moveable examination platform conducts focusing and lacks precision adjusting.
Pros: Powered by Standard USB 2.0 Interface; Adobe Reader Compatible; Built-In Illumination; Detachable Optical Tower Assembly; Excellent Value; Simple; Lightweight
Cons: Photo resolution needs improvement; Needs precision fine focus
