I have been an amateur astronomer for over 20years and owned various telescopes and accessories. When I received this item I tested it on my 18 inch f4.5 Dobsonian after waiting for a few weeks before I got clear skies. The reduction of coma was most apparent when using my 22mm Panpotic and 16mm Naglar with it.The field was very flat with the stars pinpoints to the edge of the field.
I found the turnable top a little awkward at first when changing from the 22mm Panoptic to 16mm Naglar(had to find the eyepiece position chart thats with the instructions)Fortunately once set for the Naglar I didnt have to change it for my Radians(14mm &10mm).
Note there are no position settings listed for non Tele Vue eyepieces(although there is instructions how to set the tuning by visually focusing the image)
All in all once I saw the difference in image quality I wondered how I put up with coma in the first place.
Recommended for scopes F5 or below.
Pros: Reduces/Eliminates coma on wide fields
Cons: Have to reset the tuning for different eyepieces...
Would recommend: Yes
