Pros: Very clear and easy to pick up front sight, Longer sight radius then stock sights, Tritium is great in low light situations, Well designed and manufactured as well as tough.
Cons: Cost, Installation required some milling and Rear sight sits further rearward on the slide so it pokes me when the stock sights did not.
Would recommend: yes

After about 1000 rounds down range with these sights I am very impressed! With my aging eyes I ave no trouble picking up the front sight and if properly aligned hits on aim. They are pricey but worth the money in the long run.

Sights are very easy for eyes to pick up. Like the slant of the rear sight and how it prevents light from reflecting off of them. Over all I would recommend the sights just wish the cost of them were less.
Alignment is difficult and almost useless in daylight

Cons: Front sight dot difficult to see and align in daylight
Would recommend: no

I bought two set of these and found I made a mistake. The front sigh green tritium dot is very difficult to see in the daylight. Almost useless and the orange dot made alignment very difficult. I have a number of Trijicon products I'm happy with, but my second set had a defective front sight (did not glow as tritium should). Trijicon customer service was great and replaced the site as expected; however this does not do anything for my dislike of the product for my usage.

I have now competed with these sights in daylight, low light and no light and they are fantastic. Tritium glows bright, and the orange ringed front sight makes for fast front sight acquisition.

Pros: eye goes to front sight immediately
Cons: gunsmith install - to remove factory XDm sights
Would recommend: yes
McBoots wrote:
The only install challenge was not the sights themselves but rather the removal of the original factory XDm-9 sights. Turns out this is a commonly difficult task and so I had to visit a local gunsmith and had him do all the work. Once installed, they are worth every penny. In the dark the front sight is rapidly centered due to the extra large cut out in the rear sight - this was the selling point for me. The tritium is very bright and I can locate my weapon on the night stand instantly. In the light, the front site POPS! The orange fluorescing dot is bright and is the first thing your eye goes to every time. Very rapid, the fastest non-reflex/red dot sights I've ever used. Steel construction, compact and robust. You want these!

Pros: Easy to see daytime or night time.
Cons: Required minor fitting to fit in rear dovetail.
Would recommend: yes

I bought these sights for my G-17 to be used as a defensive sidearm and for IDPA/USPSA. These sights work very well in bright sunlight as well as low to no-light. I like the orange "dot" as it is very easy to see quickly. The rear tritium vials are not ringed with white like most other night sights and work well this way and don't distract your eye from the front sight. These appear to be very well thought out. I did need to do some minor filing on the rear sight's dovetail to get the proper fit but it's not a big deal if you have the tools.
