Best nite site I have ever used

by Bob, from United States, OH Written on November 10, 2014
In over 35 years training civilian and LE officers wirh firearms, I have used many different note sites. The trijicon hd is without a doubt the best I have ever used. The large U on the rear site makes aquiring the large (yellow) front site extremely fast . I have them on every Glock I own....
Pros:
  • Everything is included
Cons:

Trijicon HD sight set yellow glock

by Cole, from United States, MN Written on November 5, 2014
These sights are excellent quality. I have recently purchased them and installed them on a glock 17. Be sure to take the time to install them with the appropriate tools because the sights are expensive and very little instruction comes with the sights. They are very quick to target due to the larger yellowish front sight and the widened rear U shaped notch. The tritium is very bright. The rear sight also aids in one handed manipulation if you are into that kind of thing....
Pros:
  • Brightness
  • duribility
  • utility
  • speed
Cons:
  • Pricey!!!!!!
  • no instructions included
Best Used for:
  • competitive shooting
  • Military
  • recretional
  • duty carry

epic the best sights I have used

by Cat, from United States, SC Written on October 28, 2014
These are the best pistol sights I have ever used. They are really quick to pick up and easy to see. I have used them in normal and low light with great success. The front sight post is thin but very visible and the rear sight with the U notch allows for fine corrections....

Trijicon HD Night Sight

by Jim H, from United States, PA Written on October 26, 2014
These sights are everything Trijicon says they are. Front sight very easy to acquire.... first shot, second shot, every shot. Follow up shots are almost easy. Cannot miss that front dot. Love the all black rear sight, no distraction, almost aligns itself. All your focus ends up on the front sight where it belongs. Really helps out an older shooter like myself! Just ordered another set for another Glock....
Pros:
  • well made
  • Excellent for self defense
  • Really smart design
Cons:
  • A little pricey

Trijicon HD night sights glock

by Redneck Cowboy, from United States, CA Written on September 23, 2014
These sights are by far the BEST on the market! The front sight jumps out at you bringing your eyes to what they should be focusing on while choosing your target. I've put these sights on all my pistols and cannot use any other sight configuration. Don't hold back on these sights, you won't be disappointed....

Best on the market

by georgia bowhunter, from United States, GA Written on September 21, 2014
These are the toughest most practical night sights on the market. The are expensive but worth the price for sights you can count on. The bright front sight and blacked out rear sights make it easy to focus on the front sight....
Pros:
  • Easy to see
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Personal Defense

Outstanding all-purpose sight

by David, from United States, NC Written on September 12, 2014
PROS - The Yellow or Orange front sight allows for fast target acquisition, without any visual confusion from the much more muted color of the rear sight. The U-shaped notch in the rear sight makes left / right centering of the front sight much easier and faster to determine than standard square notches. The tritium is very bright in the dark without being too bright (the glow is bright enough to slightly illuminate YOU if you aren't carrying concealed).

INTERMEDIATE - You should get YELLOW tritium for the rear sight (the front tritium is always green), so that way you don't have confusion at night with trying to figure out which of the 3 green dots is the front vs rear. Also yellow tritium is a bit dimmer than green, so your front green dot at night will be a little brighter than your rear yellow dots, which is also an advantage.

CONS - Installation and zeroing the rear sight are somewhat complicated and either should be done by an armorer, or if you do it yourself, you will need a file / Dremel to file down the base of the rear sight. It is too big to install the unmodified rear sight - it will NOT slide into the groove at the rear of the slide without the base being filed down quite a bit. You will also need a hammer / vice / punch or a sight adjustment tool in order to fully push the rear sight into the slide groove after you have filed the base of the sight some. You will also need these to slide the rear sight when zeroing it at the range. Lots of YouTube v...

I would recommend this sight to anyone looking for a high quality sight, which meets the standards of both tactical shooters and the casual shooter. The price is a little high, but worth it in my opinion....
