Pros:  White outline for daytime shooting, look like factory sights.

The SD comes with front night sights, but if you want rear night sights on it as well, this will cover you. The Trijicon front sight is slightly shorter than the factory sight, so if you are shooting low with the factory sight, this will help. I could have bought the Meprolight set which cost less, and are very good, but these Trijicon Novak sights retain the look of those that come on it. They look great on my SD40.

Pros:  Sights glow really bright. White "ring" helps with daylight sight alignment.
Cons:  Push sights are hard to install by nature. Other than that, I love these sights. So no real cons.

I tried to return the sights, but Optics Planet refused to refund my money, saying the had been mounted and therefore used. Will try to sell them on eBay now & take a substantial loss.
