Only one issue

by Gunner123, from United States, FL Written on October 19, 2014
The sight is great except for one small problem. When shooting at night with a flash light, it keeps the red dot on the dimmest setting. The flash light is too bright to see the red dot but not bright enough for the sight to adjust itself to a brighter setting. Wish I would have got the manually adjustable one instead....
Pros:
  • rugged construction
  • easy to use.
Cons:
  • Poor automatic adjustment
Best Used for:
  • Day time shooting

Awesome RMR

by Jim Carollo, from United States, VA Written on September 23, 2014
Have never had one of these, and was ready to try one out. Trijicon makes great stuff and this is no exception. Price was spot on for my budget. Recommend this highly to anyone that want to downsize but not go down in quality....

led red dot

by some guy, from United States, CA Written on August 29, 2014
I installed it on my subcompact 9mm. I know its bracketed for an acog but it came out cheaper to buy the mounted acog, which I will purchase later from opticsplanet. This red dot is amazing. It adjusts to the ambient light around the shooter. There is no washout and I was able to put 100rds downrange on paper very easily. I laser bore sighted the gun before I took it to the range. If you have the funds and a handgun that accepts the handgun mount, buy it....
Pros:
  • no washout
  • both eyes open
  • easy target acquisition
Cons:
  • battery operated
  • mount not easy to install
  • limited mounts for handguns

BullsEye Scope

by Butch Denton, from United States, TX Written on August 12, 2014
I ordered this product for a S&W 41 Bulls Eye pistol.Simple to mount and operate, all you have to do is aim. With a rest it was all 10's, opened up without support, who would have thought it. Next match is later this month, I have to wait to see how I will do; but the Trijicon is superb, I know the pistol and sight are right on, all I have to do is do my part. It's different than iron, but when I get acclimated to it I plan to get one for my 1911. It is pricy, but I have other Trijicons and they have always been worth the money, high quality products....

Trijicon RMR LED 3.25

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, KY Written on July 15, 2014
This is in my opinion the best RMR available. Takes a little getting used to but works great. I wish it came with a protective hood that would power the unit down like previous models. Great optic.
Pros: Superior quality
Cons: takes some getting used to...

This was so easy to set up and zero. The 3.25 MOA dot covers just enough target without obscuring too much. Co-witnessed perfectly with my BUIS. Nice compact size take up minimal room on the rail.
Pros: Ready to go and easy to sight in!
Cons: none...

STAY WITH A TRUSTED NAME WHEN MOUNTING A RED DOT ON A PISTOL SLIDE. THE RM01 SEEMS AS IF IT WAS MADE FOR THE S&W .40 C.O.R.E.
EASY TO INSTALL, EASY TO SIGHT IN. MUCH FASTER TARGET SIGHTING, ALSO HELPED ME ALOT WITH WINDAGE AIMING. I HAVE ALREADY RUN APPROX. 200 ROUNDS FLAWLESSLY . A LITTLE PRICEY BUT WELL WORTH THE EXTRA CASH, TRUST ME, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR WHEN PURCHASING OPTICS, THANKS OPTIC PLANET. WOULD RECOMMEND !!!!!!!!!!
Pros: BUILT TO CO-WITTNESS IRON SIGHTS ON M&P .40 C.O.R.E.

Trijicon RMR 3.25 MOA Sight

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on August 3, 2013
I purchased the RMR to install on a Glock 22 by milling the slide forward of the rear sight and using suppressor height sights to co-witness with the scope. The RMR small size, ruggedness and long battery life lend it to this application perfectly. The 3.25 MOA dot subtends less than 1 at 25 yards and allows pinpoint shot placement. The RMR can be used on smaller, concealed carry firearms, greatly improving accuracy.
Drawing and acquiring the dot and transitioning with the dot takes some practice as there is a definite learning curve. The rewards in accuracy warrant it.
OP, as usual, did an outstanding of processing and shipping the order.

Pros: Size, Ruggedness, Battery Life
Cons: None noted to date...
