RM07 is perfect for mounting on pistols. Used on FNX-45T. Also have an RM06 on M&P CORE. I found dot size doesn't really matter for pistol work so get the RM07 or 06. Practically speaking, both put one big ragged hole in paper;) These RMRs make a better, quicker shooter. No more lining up three dot iron sights, just put big red dot on target. Battery is bottom install but they last 4 yrs constant on. The RM07 & 06 have adjustable dot brightness and an on/off function. I leave mine on auto brightness and found there is little to no washout shooting into bright areas. Still very easy to see dot. Body movements amplify dot movement, which allows identification of trigger control problems. This isn't just another expensive toy, it actually helps you shoot better. Get suppressor height irons so you can co-witness with the red dot. Sight-in was a breeze. Just adjust the dot so it sits on top of the front sight. I sighted it at home and didn't have to touch it once I got to the range. Dead on.
Pros: Quick follow shots, easy to see dot, no wash out
Cons: Would have a perfect 5 rating if it weren't so expensive
