This mount fits my ACOG perfectly. It tightens to the rifle and holds on to it very well. It is a little pricey but it is for an ACOG.

Trijicon TA51 Flat Top Rail Adapter

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, FL Written on November 23, 2009
Trijicon makes the best Scopes, Sights, and adapters, period. Our Soldiers, Special Forces, and Navy Seals use them because they are rugged and dependable. I purchased this adapter for my CAR-15 ACOG Scope so the Scope would be mounted more inline with the barrel than up high on the carry handle. This allows for better alignment of the scope at close and distant ranges. As with all Trijicons, they carry a lifetime warranty. I have had my ACOG Scope for 16 years, and just sent it back to the factory for a checkup and service. There was no charge, even for shipping back to me.
Pros: Typical Trijicon, it is well made and works great
Cons: None...

good mount

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WA Written on September 23, 2009
thumb nuts can loosen under vibration. I found that applying ONE drop of blue thread locker and letting it dry overnight on the bare threads before tightening the thumb screws gave just enough 'stick' to keep them from moving, but still allows easy removal.
Pros: solid
Cons: can loosen...
