Pros: Lightweight, easy use, sturdy
Cons: Not too good for doubles
Would recommend: yes

I bought this thrower to replace a REALLY old One Step. I had years of use out of the first one so I naturally bought another. The new on is even nicer with the updates Trius has made. It is great if you are alone and want to go out and play. Tighten the spring a little and it will really fling them out there. I have put at least 500 clays through it without a hitch.

Pros: Works great and throws far
Cons: Can't easily disassemble for transport
Would recommend: yes

Perfect thrower for personal or occasional use. Fits in the trunk but wish that it could breakdown to go back into the box. Like the safety features inherent in the design. Step and off they go...and far too. Very clever design and you can throw by yourself as promised. For $100, you can't beat this product.

Pros: Easy one person operation.
Cons: none yet.
Would recommend: yes

I puchased the Trius one step trap to use to practice to shoot clays. The trap assembly was fairly straightforward, needing a few hand tools (a wrench & socket or another wrench). The trap is easy to move, and has thrown consistently with no breaks yet. The trap is sturdy, and seems well made (in USA)! Overall I am very pleased with the Trius one step clay trap and would recommend to anyone looking to get started shooting clays.

Great thrower. Have already put it to use a few times and it works perfect. Not very easy to assemble. Took a little while. The instructions aren't very good but it's definitely built sturdy.

This is just the ticket for me when no one else can go shooting. The trap is well built, takes a little getting use to but definitely works as advertised. My only "gripe" is you cannot slide the clamp that hold the clay on the throwing are for more left or right adjustment.

Pros: Does the job of throwing on clay target well.
Cons: Does not throw two at a time well.
Would recommend: yes

Assembly was not too bad. The instructions were worthless, I just looked at the image on the box. I had to send back initial because the screw-holes where not drilled in. The was a factory error. The Second one had all the screw-holes in the right place. The thrower works well at throwing one clay bird about 75 feet. Not having to work against the spring to reset is worth the extra money for this.

Pros: 1. Easy to use, 2. Throws clays fast and far, 3. Throws high-low double great, 4. Not one clay broken by thrower, 5. Well constructed. 6. Easy to cock since spring is not under pressure during cocking.
Cons: left-right doubles are more difficult to adjust. 2. Assembly insturctions could be better
Would recommend: yes
Gerry wrote:
Excellent product! Assembly instructions need to be improved. Would definitely buy again but will not have to due to the durable construction. Threw a case of clay without the thrower breaking a single one.
