Solid. Fast acquisition.

Like Troy says, you can acquire your target faster with this "diamond" shape aperture than with the round one. I've used both and prefer this. ...

Troy Di-optic

love this sight makes shotting at multiple distances a breeze. The small sight took my eyes some getting used to. Would have liked it to have been spring actuated at this price. overall its a great product.
Pros: easy monting, good sight picture, easy to range

Not bad

Works better then the round peep hole with standard M4 style front sight, helps you align the post exactly where it needs to be so you can be accurate with irons too.

however I have recently tried the round peep hole rear with HK front troy folding sight and it is substantially better, much easier to line up the sight as its just " complete the outer circle" and you are lined up.
Pros: very high quality fit and finish
Cons: price...

Great BUIS

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, NY Written on May 24, 2012
Great back up iron sight. I love the DOA sight picture. You can see its a quality part. I installed it on my patrol rifle - a Colt LE6920 - and feel very confident with it. I had heard some complaints that the DOA design gives a lot of " real estate " in the sight picture but I didn't have an issue with it. When it's down it's sits low on the rail and doesn't interfere with optics. I love the sight.
Pros: Troy quality, design
Cons: None ...
