Great front sight

by Brett, from United States, ME Written on September 15, 2014
Top of the line front sight, can't go wrong. I use these as backups to my Aimpoint h1 micro. That gives me a 1/3rd co-witness when flipped up. Zeroing was easy as my H1 was already zeroed. I shot for two weeks straight with just these irons to get use to them. Fun stuff!...

Troy Front Folding Tritium sight

by Sprint20, from United States, IN Written on August 11, 2014
High quality product. Must elevate or offset folding sights when mounted in conjuction with EOTech holographic sight and flip over magnifier.

I have not had the chance to try them due to waiting on off-set mounts, and or elevation rails....

Doesn't get better than this

by Macdan27, from United States, MO Written on July 30, 2014
This sight is awesome and was dead on from the box after tightening down using Fed. M855 62 grain ammo. Just needed to move my rear sight 5 clicks to the right to put POI in bulls eye at 50 yards on my BCM 16" middy. I suggest using blue lock tight on screws after you decide if you want sight at the very end of rail or a couple notches back. I like it at the end for longer sight radius but depends on where you might be placing your weapon light and if you use an offset mount like a Thorntail. That is important as to the accessibility to pushing release pin to fold down sight. I had just enough space to get my finger to push pin in at the end putting my light as far forward as possible using this mount on my Inforce WML light as I don't want any shadowing when using light. Good shooting....

Troy Front Tritium M4 Style Battle Sight

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WA Written on April 1, 2012
I looked at many different front sights for my M4. I am glad I chose this one. It is a solid unit. It may not get used often, but it is there for a backup. It is a bit expensive but worth it.
Pros: Great quality, there is no better sight.
Cons: expensive ...

Have to love Tritium

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WI Written on February 22, 2012
Was debating the added cost for the Tritium for a while and finally went with it. The Troy sights are extremely well made. Put this on a Barret REC7 and am very pleased with the results. It is an unbelievable difference even in low light to engage targets accurately. Great product!
Pros: Night Visibility
Cons: cost...

Not quite what I expected

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MO Written on November 14, 2011
This sight was exactly what I needed for a back up iron sight to use with my eotech. However I was a little disappointed about how bright (or dim) the tritium was even in dark conditions. Although it is a battle sight you dont want it to be too bright.
Pros: Mounts and sights in easy. Built well
Cons: Not quite as bright as I hoped. Pricey...

Well made solid BUIS

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, OR Written on June 23, 2011
These were exactly what I was expecting from a top manufacturer. The adjustment of the front sight is a bit awkward. The adjustment tool did not always engage cleanly when sighting in. Additionally, I wish they were a bit cheaper.
Pros: Solid, well made.
Cons: Adjustment is a bit awkward....
