Easy to see

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, VA Written on April 23, 2014
I really like these sights. This is the 3rd set that I've bought. Glows in complete darkness. The front sight screw came loose after 30 rounds. Applied locktite but haven't shot it since.
Pros: Easy to install, bright, easy to see
Cons: front sight came loose after 30 rounds...

TFO Yellow / Green XDm Compact

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, MT Written on May 2, 2012
By design the yellow rear sight is dimmer than the front yellow. in daylight the fiber optics are great. low light the yellow is a bit to dull. the darker it is the better the sights work. I use this for a carry gun and night use. they are very good. but when I read the rear was less luminus i thought ok it's that way by design. So why were people complaining. Now i know. it is just a little to subdued for me. Since it is a different color than the front maybe it could be a little brighter. After all the contrast od yellow to green will prevent green overlap. I have the TFO greens on other guns. if i had it to do over I would probably stick to the green and no yellow. I won't change what I have for now because it does work.
Pros: Better than stock sights. Fair price
Cons: Yellow rear could be brighter....

TFO sights to fit Glock 21.

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on September 18, 2011
Good sights. High contrast yellow/green sight picture. The fiber optics work well under bright sunlight. The tritium doesn't seem like the brightest around, but the double application makes up for it. I would recommend these to anyone who wants something besides white dots....

Great improvement

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, MA Written on December 24, 2010
I installed these on my S&W MP 9C. NICE improvement!
They glow well in darkness yet also glow in daylight on the range. A marked improvement over factory in any light really. Installation was tedious even with a sight pushing tool and use of the freezer and blow dryer but I think that true of any sight. Not just these.
Time will tell if the FOs hold up but replacement filaments can be had so no biggie. Buying another set for my other M&P soon.
Pros: visibility, versatility, low profile, price
Cons: installation, durability unknown...

TFO sights - green front, yellow rear

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on April 12, 2010
I have these installed on a Glock 23. I am very happy with them and the daytime performance of the Fiber Optics is impressive. The glow from the tritium at night is not quite as bright as the other night sites I have, possibly a small loss of light through the FO(?). I can't really define that as a complaint because they work just fine. I might try yellow front and green rears if i were using them mostly at night
Pros: flexibility for day or night, in good light very bright FO
Cons: expensive, not the brighest at night....

Contrast between front green sight and rear yellow makes front sight acquisition fast and easy. Works well in bright and low light conditions.
Pros: great contrast for easy front sight acquisition
