As I mentioned, the TS-6000 is excellent, but the lid I received was fragile and a hinge broke while I was wiping it dry. I went to the Lyman web site and opened a "Support Ticket" under "Warranty Questions" about this issue. Lyman responded quickly and perfectly! Without question Lyman sent me a new, replacement lid. I installed it easily, and it looks good and works perfectly. This was all free of charge to me. I am perfectly pleased! Also, I continued to limp along and use the ultrasonic cleaner with the broken hinge/lid (until I received the new lid), and am even more impressed with the TS-6000's performance.
I will be a little more careful with the new lid. I don't know whether the first lid I received was just a fluke, weak unit OR it is just a little under-designed. Either way, I am fine with giving it a little extra care. Overall, it is a fine unit.
