Amazing Holster for use on a Belt, But not for Molle

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, FL Written on March 5, 2012
Great Holster, very well made. But I bought this for a Molle drop leg rig. This is a belt holster, you may be able to get this attached to molle if you want a Horizontal Holster, but you will have the belt loop facing out. It will work, but it won't look right. I spoke with a rep from Uncle Mikes, he tried to figure it out, he couldnt. But in the end, he agreed that it was not Really Made for Molle. I kept the holster because it is a really nice belt holster, one of the best Tactical Holsters Ive seen. I like this one better than the 5.11 LBE. The Best Molle Holster I have found and am now using is the Condor Ambidextrous Molle Holster, one big advantage is the built in Bungee Loop that goes over the grip, this along with the web snap for over the hammer. Two very secure ways to hold your gun, especially when running. I recommend taking the Bungee off when not running and just use the snap. This attaches very nicely to Molle. It also has a single mag holster that can mount onto the holster or webbing anywhere you want it...
Pros: Great for using left or right hand
Cons: Is not made for Molle...

Nice holster

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on December 5, 2011
If you want a holster that fits guns with accessories, and/or is adjustable (so you can use the same holster for multiple guns), then I definitely recommend it. I'll try to give a decent description since I can't put up pictures. There's 5 main components to the holster.

1: The main body that holds the gun, the outside is completely covered in velcro (loops) and the inside is somewhere between rubber and velvet, with a smooth plastic strip along where the gun's sights would run. The material on the inside, kind of catches on to the gun which can slow down re-holstering depending on how tight its fitted. There's 4 slits (1 under the trigger guard, 1 in front of trigger guard, and 2 in front of the barrel) where you can use velcro straps to adjust for girth and length (or remove the straps entirely).

2: The back portion, which has the pieces allowing it to attach to MOLLE webbing is made of some rubbery fabric. The straps that route through the MOLLE webbing are the kind that you tuck back under themselves after routing them through. The MOLLE-compatible portion fits 4 MOLLE straps (about 4 inches). The whole piece velcros on to the holster body.

3: The front portion that velcros on to the opposite side, has the three velcro straps (visible in the picture) which adjust the tightness and girth of the holster as well as secure the back piece.

4: The thumb break straps are 2 separate pieces which Velcro on wherever you want them.

5: The Buckle retention strap (not ...

UNIVERSAL HOLSTER WITH MOLLE SYSTEM

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on September 18, 2011
Works well with my FNP .45 with viridian laser/light. Weird material used for the Molle panel. It looks like it might not last long. Kinda cheapy as I,ve come to expect fom Uncle Mike products. Still, I'll keep it as there are few holsters for the FNP .45.
Pros: WORKS WELL WITH LIGHT/LASER
Cons: ONE OF THE VELCRO STRIPS GOING AROUND THE BODY OF THE HOLSTER IS TOO LONG AND CANNOT BE ADJUSTED, IT JUST FLAPS IN THE WIND...

Uncle Mikes is always good stuff at a reasonable price. The holster was nice but a little difficult to set up.
