I chose a "neutral" rating across the board because this holster is neither "great!" not is it "horrbile". I must say that this is my first tactical holster so many of you "veterans" might want to take my review with a grain of salt. I chose this holdter because there is little else available that will fit my particular pistol (Ruger P95), and because it seemed like a well-made rig. The quality of the holster and frame seem very good but this does add "bulk". Retention is great with the velcro AND snap closures. IF you need that kind of retention. Handy during physical ops but it makes for a much slower draw. Even without the velcro closure secured the holster is still very snug which slows draw time. I adjusted the fit and it seems that if I make it loose enough to be able to draw quickly the screvs that hold the holster together stick out. Hopefully with use it will "loosen up". One other issue is that the strap that secures the weapon is, what I would call, too long. When I adjust it short enough so my pistol sits at the right height, I have an extra 10 inches of strap that I have to tuck in "somewhere". Once I know I am happy with where it sits I will cut it to length but it unless I was 7 feet tall I can't see using that much extra strap. Keep in mind that I have only had this holster for a week and have not actually "used" it. Hopefully 6 months from now we will be best friends.
Pros: Very sturdy, great retention
Cons: Bulky, tricky to fit to gun, ...
Would recommend: Yes
