Great value for the money. Ballistic nylon is a great material. The external pockets each hold at least to 30 round mags so capacity for at least 6 total. Holds my rifle and extra upper very securely!

I bought 2 of these cases, a Black 36 and a Canopy 43. These are some of the nicest cases I own. This rectangular style is a must for a gun with vertical fore grip. The adjustable external straps with snap buckles help keep the case snug to its contents. They have the standard Velcro straps & angled pockets inside to secure the gun. The padded shoulder strap has Velcro straps to secure it in place on the back when not in use. Nice moving large zippers with pull tassels. The Black 36 (made in 2009) does not have lockable zippers. The Canopy 43 (made in 2010) does have lockable zippers. The 36 case fits a collapsed AR-15 with an 18 barrel and brake perfectly. The inside length measures true to size. The outside storage pouches are not removable. Good spacious internal storage pocket for a pistol or magazines.

Pros:  Great for the money
Cons:  Lacks MOLLE straps/PAL Webbing
Would recommend:  yes

This is a great soft case for the price, but lacks MOLLE straps compared to other similar cases. The rifle compartment only has two large straps to hold your rifle in the compartment, but do nothing to keep it in place vertically. So when carrying the case, the rifle falls down to the bottom of the case instead of being held 'suspended' by the straps. Would also be impossible to carry two rifles since nothing would keep them from banging into eachother, but then again this isn't sold as a two-rifle bag. Unfortunately none of the pictures show the inside of the case, otherwise I may have gone with a different case which does have the MOLLE straps. For the features it does have and the price it is sold at, it is still a solid quality case.

Pros:  Well constructed, compact
Cons:  None identified
Would recommend:  yes

I purchased this case to ship my four piece fly rods as checked baggage to Alaska. The 36" version would hold three four-piece rods or two rods and a pair of waders in the main compartment. The outside pockets could be used for reels, lines, tackle, or other items (though the case would start to become "oval" in cross section). This case is made of heavy duty ballistic nylon with high quality buckles and straps, including straps to hold down the shoulder starp during shipment. This case traveled on large commercial jets and single engine float planes, and my rods came through just fine.

Pros:  Ample storage and padding, strong closures, flexible applications
Cons:  Wish zipper pulls provided for locking
Would recommend:  yes

R120 wrote:

Great bag for the price, compares favorably with much more expensive cases. Ample storage for one rifle/shotgun, two won't really work. Lots of space for additional gear and ammunition. Would be nice if the zippers provided a feature for locking the two large compartments. I added loops of thin stainless cable through the zippers to allow use of a lock. Best price/performance case I know of for a single long gun.

Pros:  Everything! Heavy duty, low price etc
Cons:  None
Would recommend:  yes

Randall wrote:

I ordered this case as a cheap quick one expecting to be just barely satisfied with it as i am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. At $65 you definitely get MORE than you pay for with this. Not only are there heavy duty zippers that seem like you could hang on them but all the pouches that are Velcro and zippers alike have snap locks over them to insure that nothing is coming open. The padding is great, you can secure the carrying strap to the bag when not needed and you can store TONS of stuff in all of the pouches. mine comfortably fits a rifle, five mags, two pairs shooting glasses, rangefinder, gps, log book, rifle sling, gunsmithing book, plastic shooting tarp, roll of flagging tape, compass, targets (without bending them if you do it right), tape measure, cleaning cloth, a 50rd box of ammo (could probably fit two or three), as well as other small items STILL WITH ROOM TO SPARE. Still enough room to put a pistol with holster and a couple mags on the second zip compartment. ...

I bought this bag to transport a Mossberg 590 A1 18" shotgun. The gun fits perfectly and the bag holds the gun well. The three outside pockets hold shells and other items I take when I shoot.
