Pros:  Sturdy, good optics, great tripod, protective case
Cons:  they reduced the price after I bought it

Pros:  The features and quality for the price.
Cons:  Very little eye relief at maximum magnification.
Would recommend:  yes

I just wanted a decent little spotting scope to take to the range with me and this more than fits the bill. The scope, hard case and soft case are all solidly built. There are definitely much clearer optics out there if you want to spend over five times as much. If you are on a budget and don't need the top of the line optic, this will fit the bill nicely.

Pros:  Sharp clear image under 25 power. Lightrweight and solid case
Cons:  Image seriously degrades over 25 power .
Would recommend:  yes

I knew that 50 power was a stretch for a scope at this price. At under 25 power image is very good; more than good enough for my birdwatching. The image at 50 power degrades badly but is still usable in daylight. Good compromise of price and power.
