Pros:  great customer service
Cons:  I think I just got a bad pair and I am 100% sure that they were going to send me a new pair but I changed my mind and got different binoculars from them.

Pros:  optics quality and feel in hand, as well as eye relief
Cons:  tiniest niggle is the sharpness on the extreme edge of view

These are good binoculars for the money and as good as any binocular out there for under $300. I will admit I am spoiled by a pair of Zeiss 10X40 ( $650 ) binoculars and it is unfair to compare them. These Vortex were purchased for my son's birthday after I had already purchased another exact pair for my wife who loved them and now carries them everywhere we go. My wife wanted a better binocular for when we go shed antler hunting because she had been using a very small pair of 7X26 Bushnell which just didn't cut it for shed antler hunting. Shed antler hunting requires lots and lots of time looking with binoculars and the 12X power is great for this purpose and the Vortex doesn't seem to strain your eyes even after hours of looking. These are a very good value binocular and we ( my son and my wife ) are very happy with our purchase.
