Like other reviewers have said, there are no instructions. I really didn't think something like this could need instructions. I figured the other reviewers were a bunch of dummies and probably wore Velcro shoes. Well apparently, I should also be wearing Velcro shoes. I still don't know if I have it on right. It only has three pieces but the inside honeycomb and ring can go in several ways, none of which seem well engineered. I can still see through my Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 so that's a plus. It looks cool, another plus. But $50 for a poorly engineered piece of Plastic, I don't know. Their higher end scopes use a screw in killflash, probably a better design. I haven't used mine in the feild yet but I think it will work fine. My targets will never see the glare off my scope. They are also supposed to be an effective way to reduce sun glare, eliminating the need for a long ugly sun shade.

Perhaps it is my false expectation that causes my poor review of this product. With that said, the PST comes with protective covers and that is a good thing. The rub comes if you install the KillFlash, you can't use them (OD problem). I get the logic but the practicality escapes me. In and of itself the KF is great. Its simple to mount and does not blur or otherwise interfere with the optics.

Pros: Kills The Flash
Cons: No Instructions, Won't Stay On Scope, COST
Would recommend: no

I ordered this item with high hopes. Once in hand, I found it did not come with instructions, and found it even more shocking that I would need any. The ARD won't stay on the scope (Vortex Viper PST FFP 6.5-24x50mm), and can't seem to mount properly. I doublechecked the size, and it is what was recommended. Since the cost was astonomical, I would never suggest this ARD. As a police sniper, I had much higher expectations.
