Pros:  durable, easy mounting, able to aim with stock sights, price, look, red & green dots, dust caps
Cons:  the dust caps are a pain to get closed sometimes, i feel this will dissolve after more use, this is the only downfall of this product, and to me it doesn't affect my 5 star review at all
Would recommend:  yes

I had an Aimpoint optic in my e-cart ready to buy. Then I thought, let me shop around for just a few minutes. Did some google searches and found tons of guys talking about this optic. I then contact my sheriff deputy friend and asked him about it. He told me that he had the same Aimpoint I was going to purchase and he shot his co-workers AR with this Vortex Scope on it. He was downright amazed at how accurate it was. He told me not to hesitate to buy it, it was just as good as his Aimpoint. Sure there is some parallax up close and personal, but I leave my MBUS sights up most of the time anyway. The buttons are very well made and let you know that you have pressed them. The lens is very clear. Mounts up perfectly and allows for dual sighting(coefficient targeting?). I like the green dot more than the red dot, personal preference though. Both are very visible. I did notice at 100 yards when i was shooting, that the dot is not perfectly round. This did not hinder my ability to send all 30 rounds into a 3in group. I had a few people ask me which scope it was when I hit a metal target at 300 yards unexpectedly. Some guys there were using 600$ scopes to do that. I just laughed and told them it was a 170 dollar optic with no magnification. They seemed irritated with my snide remark. :D
