For around $200.00, you get quality glass, sturdy construction and easy to use features. I've looked through more expensive scopes, but can't imagine needing more than what this scope offers. Bore-sighted at 50yds. Tested at 100yds with positive results. Still need to try 200+yds.

This scope is great! I honestly do not think that you can expect anything more out of a scope in this price range. It is extremely clear, is well made and functions exactly the same as a scope costing a lot more. If you are looking for a scope to get the job done without a fuss or a hole in your wallet then this scope is it.

I've looked at higher end scopes. They're really nice, but for about $200, I can't imagine needing anything more than what the Vortex Diamondback has to offer. Quality product, sturdy, clear, easy to figure out and it puts the bullet where you want it. I mounted it to my Ruger M77 Sporter, bore-sighted it to 50yds and made decent groups at 100yds. Have yet to try my luck at 200yds. Here's the deal: cheap, well made, accurate and it doesn't take a genius to start putting holes in stuff.

Mounted on a browning X-bolt. Overall Im happy with the scope. Compares about the same as a Nikon Buckmaster. Doesn't come close to a 600 dollar SWFA scope in clarity and eye relief though, especially at higher magnifications. But for 200 dollars Im happy with this purchase.

This is an oustanding scope for the cost. The features it offers are found only on scopes costing much more. The optics are great.

Glass is clear, and bright. My son-in-law and I compared this scope to 4 other scopes, all in current use on our hunting rifles. The diamondback was brighter, and had a more crisp image than the nikon prostaff, the simmons prohunter, and was surprisingly a good bit better than my older nikon monarch. The glass in the vortex was very good for the money spent.?

I am using the scope on a 177 pellet rifle. I was reluctant to do so but folks at Vortex said it would be fine. So far, so good. No problems.
