Vortex Diamondback 1.75-5x32

by Billy, from United States, NY Written on January 17, 2015
Good little scope for the money. Mounted on a 30-30 lever gun with XS sight rail and QD rings. The most impressive thing to me is the very high quality turret adjustments. You don't find quality like this even on expensive scopes. Glass is OK to good for this price range.
I would not recommend the Dead Hold BDC reticle in this scope. With the low magnification the reticle stadia lines are so close together that I do not find them useful. Wished I would have just gotten the standard reticle. I don't mean to bash the dead hold BDC, I'm sure it would be quite valuable on a 3x9 or higher scope....

Great scope. Excellent clear scope that has great low light capability. Holds its zero very well and is easy to adjust with audible clicks for the adjusments. Zeroed mine in for 200yds with my M1A and got a decent 3in group. Not bad for a 5x...

This is a great scope!

by Woodruff Hunter, from United States, WI Written on October 12, 2014
I put this scope on a AR15 pistol to use for hunting and it is fantastic. It is the clearest 32mm objective I have ever used. The magnification is perfect for quick target acquisition, and the multiple cross hair reticle keeps it accurate at virtually any distance....

Been a long time user of much expensive scopes, bushnell/Leupolds. bought this for a Marlin Lever and from past experience of a vortex on a AR. after talking to customer service I decided on this model. I have taking out at dawn and after midnight with full moons and without testing against a VXIII, Just totally blown away from the clarity, light gathering capabilities of the lil jewel. I am ordering a second one for another marlin. Very well made, one piece construction, nice finish and is a good looking product as well. get it, you will not be sorry. and the best warranty in the business.
Pros: cost, quality , FOV
