Great Scope!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on January 31, 2014
Great scope for the money. It is built like a tank, and the turrets function flawlessly. I wish the reticle was brighter in the daytime, but it is not really necessary unless you are looking into a shadowed area. The glass is acceptable for the price.
Pros: Solid and economical
Cons: Reticle could be brighter...

Viper review

Love it, would like to see the reticle illumination brighter on highest setting, and the reticle thickness is very small, will be great for long range shooting, but difficult to see for shorter range. The zero stop is awesome and the best for the cost.
Pros: zero stop, cost, quality
Cons: daytime illumination, reticle thickness...

Great Budget scope

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, MD Written on December 30, 2012
Great scope for the price. It's nice to have matching mil/mil turrets and reticle. Turrets are solid and the markings are clear and very usable. Glass is average when it comes to good scope but acceptable for the price point.
Pros: Mil turrets, price, markings
Cons: Glass is average but acceptable...

Very Satisfied

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on October 2, 2012
Absolutely outstanding glass for the money! The optic is a near perfect fit for "SPR" type intermediate range rifles. It is compact, clear, the reticle is very clean and crisp and it feels like it is built like a tank. The turret clicks are more positive than Leupold and on the same level as my Nightforce. Very nice! The reticle illumination is a nice feature, it is noticeable during daylight hours when on the highest level, but just barely. Overall, a great scope....

Decent scope for the money

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on February 11, 2012
With a parallax adjustment (side focus), this scope would be near perfect for my needs. At 10X, it's nice to have the adjustment available.
Pros: Clear optics, robust construction, nice looking reticle, sturdy adjustment knobs
Cons: Parallax adjustability would be nice for a scope of this power...

Impressive

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on September 27, 2011
This scope is an excellent value for the money. It has great optical clarity along with fantastic features. The illumination could be better in daylight. I do wish they would put a parallax knob on these but that's just me being picky. Excellent scope. You wont regret buying it. ...

Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x44 Good to Go

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WY Written on August 8, 2011
I bought this scope to go on my varmint rifle and mounted it in a GG&G one piece mount. Very sturdy! Clear glass, very satisfied. No problems with retaining zero. Illumination does not wash out image, very clean illumination lines. Turrets are crisp and tactile! Absolutely no complains about this optic, very happy on my end.
Pros: Clear optical clarity, lightweight, clear illumination...
