I bought this scope to use to shoot my Remington 700 (.308) at paper and steel targets mostly out to 400 yards, but occasionally out to 1000 for recreation.
I put a Nightforce 20 moa single piece base on my rifle and used Burris Xtreme Tactical Rings to mount the scope. The low rings fit this scope perfectly with the Nightforce base, with a few millimetersof clearance over the barrel. I didn't actually mount this scope to my rifle, but just lightly tightened the rings on it so I could check the scope out.
The glass was very nice, with good, bright images up to 24X. I checked out some objects about 1200 yards outside of the back of my house and they came in clearly and better than I expected.
Unfortunately, the illuminated reticle was defective on my scope (occasionally came on but mostly stayed off) so I have to return for another one. It sounds like it may take a while to get my exchange scope, but I plan to update this review with more information when I get the new scope mounted and take it out to the range.
Pros: Great features, price, good quality
Cons: illuminated reticle defective
