I then went inside and set up the base unit and in minutes I was receiving the remote sensor data about the temperature and so now as the outdoor temperature fluctuates we know when to skip outside and adjust to the refrigerators internal temperature setting to keep the contents from freezing. the distance from base unit in the kitchen window to the remote sensor unit is about 50ft. And there are two walls that can interfere with the signal. to I am using lithium batteries rather than regualar nickel cadmium or alkaline their reported to work better in below ...
