We have had 35 years experience with Weaver Scopes. As professional hunting guides at HuntsNT we have owned & used scopes from most European, American & Japanese manufactures, so we believe we have the experience to evaluate optics. Our Weaver Classic Extreme 1.5 - 4.5 x 24 scopes are extremely robust having been mated with 375 H & H, 416 Rem Mag & in 2008 placed on a 375 Ruger. Classics can handle the rough stuff from not so gentle clients plus the tough Northern Territory enviroment of bull dust, heat & humidity and constant travel in 4WD which haven't had any impact on the Extremes. The optics really are first class and you would normally expect to pay more, much more for glass of this quality. Finally the genuine 4 inches of eye relief is a real bonus on any hunting rifle, especially the type that bites both ends. We don't use the illuminated reticle but for any hunter active at dawn or dusk this is just an added bonus to an already first class product.
