Installed the scope on my 22-.250 and shot it maybe three different occasions. Once to sight it in and it has been to the range maybe twice after that. Scope has never been in the field nor used for any extened firing sessions. Has always been stored in a safe and never been dropped or even remotely mishandled. It and the rifle are both in brand new condition still. Took it out of the safe a while back and turned the focus ring on the front of the scope. Heard a light ping, looked through the scope and the crosshair had sprung! Really? The scope and rifle have maybe 20 rounds shot so far.
Have called Weaver's Technical Service Department three times in the past week and goes straight to answering service. Left name, number, and brief description of issue. Have yet to receive a callback.
Between Weaver's lack of customer service and the fragility of the scope, will be looking to another brand for a replacement.
Pros: crosshairs, adjustable focus, semi-turret adjustments
Cons: Lack of service support, product failed after a couple of uses
