Pros: crosshairs, adjustable focus, semi-turret adjustments
Cons: Lack of service support, product failed after a couple of uses
Would recommend: no

Installed the scope on my 22-.250 and shot it maybe three different occasions. Once to sight it in and it has been to the range maybe twice after that. Scope has never been in the field nor used for any extened firing sessions. Has always been stored in a safe and never been dropped or even remotely mishandled. It and the rifle are both in brand new condition still. Took it out of the safe a while back and turned the focus ring on the front of the scope. Heard a light ping, looked through the scope and the crosshair had sprung! Really? The scope and rifle have maybe 20 rounds shot so far. Have called Weaver's Technical Service Department three times in the past week and goes straight to answering service. Left name, number, and brief description of issue. Have yet to receive a callback. Between Weaver's lack of customer service and the fragility of the scope, will be looking to another brand for a replacement.

Pros: Huge magnification range, very durable
Cons: Short eye relief at higher powers
Would recommend: yes

This a good scope for long range shooting; but I recommend it for lower recoiling rifles. Focus was good throughout the power range. The Adjustable Objective kept it parallax free. My main concern is shooting at the highest power on a heavy recoiling rifle. The eye relief starts to reduce quickly. On heavier recoiling rifles there is a chance for the scope hitting your eye. I mounted it on my 300WSM first, but transferred to my 260REM.

Great optics for the money. The turret style knobs are real small, allowing the firearm to be easy to handle and light weight, but work effectively for dialing in the correct elevation for medium range shots on most rifles.

I have 4 of these scopes, a great buy for the scopes ability to function and preform. The v series has great lenses and are built well. The resetable turret dials function with a screw to hold them in place, works great to zero out the scope.
