I do not recommend that you get this band wet, even though the watch is water resistant. Over all, the band looks good with the watch is why I chose to replace it with the same style of watch band. I am disapppointed in the band I purchased, as the second strap retainer on the band is too large and falls off the band when not being worn. It is also hard to keep in place as it is too big. Other SA bands I have had such as this have not had this problem.
