good knife over all

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 9, 2011
over all, i like this knife. i use it for a "edc", it is a little large(check your local laws), but light weight. i have always been a fan of swiss army knives, it is about time they adopted a pocket clip and lock. the thing i like the most is the steel. i live on a beach, where alot of knives tend to rust(just from the salt in the air). this steel is very high in chromium, because of that, it is some what "soft", but sharpens easy and is VERY rust and stain resistant. the blade opens with a thumb hole, it is some what small, it is hard to get your thumb in it. the handles are just "plastic", not g10 or anything. they will break or mess up if abused, but are light weight, and feels good in hand. the lock is cool, it uses the "wenger swiss shield" on the side as a push button to close the blade. the lock is a "liner lock", the only thing is, that the "button" can be pushed accidentally while gripping the handle tight. the "button" is flat though, it would not happen usually, but it can. over all, this is a good knife and worth the money.
Pros: light weight, "swiss steel", lock, and clip.
Cons: blade hole is not large enough, blade could close on hand...
