It left a major gash in the plastic so I had to replace it and wanted something thicker in case I catch something moving faster. These fit the bill. Having a second frame with clear lenses is also handy for night time shooting. The only complaint I have is that my eye lashes hit the glass, not a major issue and no I'm not a lady with glamor lashes. The frames just fit tight to your face. But I'd rather deal with that than catch some debris from the side. I'm going to order me a second pair for guest.

Cons:  swapping lenses and temples is a bit scary

I bought these so I didn't have to carry both shooting glasses and sun glasses. I can wear these every day and still use them at the range. The only real problem is that changing the lenses and temples requires a bit of force and until you're comfortable with pushing and pulling pretty hard it often feels like you're going to break something instead of simply swapping out parts. The price for such solid protection is very good. I used to pay 3x for the same features. Not anymore.
