These are a little different from the earlier model. If you are just buying the frames, be aware that your lens from the old model will be loose on these. The temples are different also. They are a great value.

It was cheaper then buying two seperate pairs of sun glasses; One pair for daytime motorcycle riding, second for night time. While the gasket works great on the motorcycle and fits my face nicely, the gasket does not last. I bought the XL-1's in May, and by July the gaskets are falling apart. Of course I use them every day, but still ... I would hope they would last longer than two months
