I am impressed by the Yukon's optics - great quality at such a modest price. Good for scouting during daytime, good for stargazing at night.
Only problem: When extending the scope to its full length, it becomes difficult to hold still, not just because of the 20x magnification, but because your hands are so far apart. This remains problem even when supporting the scope on a pole, branch, rock etc. (an absolute must).
I would really like Yukon to make a 12x or 15x scope using the Scout's magnificent 50mm lens and outer hull, but without the extension tube. This would make it much easier to hold the scope still.
The scope is light enough to bring along in my backpack, and when collapsed, it is the maximum size I am willing to carry. Please make a short (non-extendable) version of this great scope, Yukon!
Pros: Excellent optics for such a low price
Cons: Very long when extended - difficult to hold still...
Would recommend: Yes
