I put this on my MP15-22. It would show fine indoors. Zeroed it with bore sight. Went to range on heavy overcast day. Would only project 12" in the shade. After 25 round from a 22 the cover to the switch had fell off. I am returning it.

Pros:  good power and coompact
Cons:  Rubber cover to on-off switch came off two of these unites that I ordered after the first use at range. The up and down adjustment broke after only a few uses's.

Over all a nice unite just be carefull about trying to go beyond the srop on the elavation adjustment and be ready to buy a remote switch as the on off rubber cover on the unite will not last very long or with any real use.

This laser is a vast improvement in daylight visibility. Now I can shoot my tactical shotgun from any position without having to locate the iron sights.
