Pros:  low cost, body seems rugged, good form factor
Cons:  poor performance, visible IR light at source

Pros:  excellent picture, will see in total darkness w/o IR illuminator
Cons:  screen could be larger

The brightness dimer swith was easy to use, and only having one focus adjustment as opposed to two was a plus,for easy of use. For the money you can't beat this for serious night vision.
