Cons: Battery cap is awkward

I purchased this sight specifically for my AR15 pistol in .223. I have about 80 rounds through it with this sight on it and it seems to be holding up fine. I did have a few glitches with the holographic portion turning off and on, but that was becuase the battery cap (difficlult to tighten kind of) was loose. When I fixed that problem, the sight worked fine. For the money, it's been fantastic. I would buy another one for my 12ga or my other AR carbine. With free shipping, it's a great buy.

Pros: Good quality for the money
Cons: funky adjustments
Would recommend: yes

I bought this for a new AR build that is waiting for a scope I've ordered, it has no sights on it but I wanted to shoot it and brake in the barrel. You have to adjust the elevation first and then lock it in but the dot will move a little when locked it so you have to fool around a little to get it right then you can adjust the windage. The windage adjustment was very tight at 1st and I had to be careful not to strip the head, I would recommend using a better quality allen wrench of the proper size for the first adjustments. I'm not law enforcement or military so I don't count on this sight for my life and don't recommend it for those that do but it's an excellent value for the plinker, hobbiest or beginner.

Pros: Good Value, Great Features
Cons: Needs Brighter Reticle
Would recommend: yes

Mounted on a DPMS AR in 308 Win. Zeroed at 50 yards and it seems to be holding zero with the 308 recoil. Early on, the reticle would go dim from recoil and then would return to bright after firing the next shot. Checked the battery and all was OK and the battery cap was tight. But, something was causing loss of contact. Continued shooting and eventually the intermitent dimming went away - hope it continues to work properly. The reticle could be brighter. In bright sunshine it is dificult to pick up the reticle - it needs to be brighter! The 4 different reticles are really nice. Most will pick a favorite and use just one - but, the choice is great. Once you pick your favorite, it is immaterial if the zero changes when you change reticles since most won't change reticles routinely.

Pros: Clear sight picture
Cons: Mount base is tilted to one side
Would recommend: yes

Even though the sight itself is mounted on the base crooked the sight seems to be straight. Looks like the
manufacturer used paper shims to level the sight on the base. Haven't shot it yet.

I use this for quick acquisition when stalking on a hunt and the target is closer than the use of my scope allows. It is a great thing to have just incase.
