excellent for the price.

by Machine, from United States, MN Written on October 27, 2014
For the price this thing cannot be beat. Zero was quick and easy, and held over 200 rounds of testing. All controls are solid and precise. Retical illumination is nice, paralax and other adjustments are easy to use. Would definately recommend as an entry level scope....

Mounted on CZ 550 30-06 shooting berger 155 VLD,s. Went to my sierra infinity ballistics program and founf the come ups. Printed them out and headed to large alabama clear cut. longest yards was 645. Dailed up 640 on thr turrent and blew up the rock I was shooting at. found another @550 and turned it to gravel. what more can I say?
Pros: Easy to mount and sight in, love the lighted reticle
Cons: found none as of date...

Sightmark 4x16x44 SF/IR

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on June 14, 2012
For the money spent find it to be a GREAT scope. Using it on a Benjamin Marauder .22 cal PCP air rifle.
On a powder burner likely a great scope there also.
Pros: Super fine crosshairs, nice clear glass, very good adjustment values.
Cons: Turret locks kind of funky and small. need to really crank em down to keep from loosening. Objective lens hood while avalible, should come with the scope IMO....

REVISED Sightmark 44mm Scopr Review

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, VA Written on January 22, 2012
This is an update to an earlier review related to this scope. While the optics and controls are good ergonomically, the scope started to fail to hold zero after more than 10 rounds were fired from my .308 cal. rifle. Also it appears the elevation adjustment is reversed. The reticle can be zeroed, but after going to 100 + yards with progressive shots, shot groups fall below center...even after re-zeroing. When compared to my Millett 50 mm, it was clear this unit has issues.
Pros: Clear optics, ergonomics
Cons: Fails to hold zero...

Sight mark 44mm tactical triple duty riflescopes

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, VA Written on January 1, 2012
A very good scope for the money. Adjustments are robust and solid, usually an issue for many higher priced scopes. Adjustments can even be used with gloves.
Pros: Good clear optics and excellent wind/elev turret style adjustments
Cons: none...

Sightmark 4-16x44 Triple Duty Tactical Riflescope SM13017

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on November 17, 2011
I bought this scope for my Ruger 77 Mark II 300 Win Mag for the elk hunt this year. It took me around 10 minutes to mount, and another 10 minutes to zero. At 250 yards I'm shooting a 2" group and only loose another inch at 350 yards. Love it.
Pros: Easy to mount, zero, and adjust moa
Cons: none yet...

Not bad at all for price!

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 16, 2011
I purchased this scope knowing full well that it's not a $1000 plus PRO setup. With that said, I am VERY pleased for the price point. This is mounted on a 22" barrel AR15 and using 5.56 ball 55gr, I am grouping 3/4" at 100yds. I zeroed in on 6 shots, and holding zero after 500rnds. I must say....for a sub $200 scope, this one is spot on!
Pros: Low price, big on features, clear, illuminated reticle
Cons: Made in china....but not a dealbreaker...

Wont adjust correctly

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on November 25, 2010
I have other sitemark scopes that work great, but I purchased 2 of these and they will not adjust correctly. When you click it up, it goes to the left and down. I was using a vice and laser bores, so I know it wasnt operator error. Also when you focus, the crosshairs move to the left. They should stay in the same position. I took it to a local gunsmith and he said that it was built cheap. Im in the process of sending them back.
Pros: Cheap, good magnification
Cons: Will not zero in and adjust correctly...
