Pros:  3 powers easy to adjust, very clear optics, portable, rugged
Cons:  It costs more than most, you'd have to get use to plastic

This is the best hand held magnifier I personally experienced, we are budgeting for another its so indispensable.

This is a Zeiss product, no doubt. The engineering is superb, the diopters align like a dream, and the optics of course are bittingly clear and superbly corrected. The diameter is generous. My only minor gripe is the lack of an eyelet, but maybe it was really never menat to be a field lens, really.
