Tubing ends are heat-sealed to prevent contamination in shipment. Durometer hardness: Shore A, 66. Nontoxic, nonpyrogenic, and noncytotoxic. Tested for cytotoxicity (MEM Elution Method). Can be autoclaved or sterilized with steam, radiation, or chemicals.

Complies with Military Specification GSA-CID (General Services Administration Commercial Item Description) A-A-55697 for medical applications. Meets USP Class VI criteria.
