Containers are made entirely of polypropylene and polyethylene, are chemical-resistant even to hydrochloric acid, and are metal-, latex-, zinc-, and fluorescence-free. Containers can be subjected to freezing, thawing, and EtO gas sterilization without causing changes in materials or physical appearance. Graduated in 50mL increments along the length and in 100mL increments along the height. Anatomically designed for easy use by patients. The low form design saves space when placed in a refrigerator.

The leakproof cap features a large 79mm (31/8") opening for easy sample collection. The unique snap-valve pouring spout can be easily popped open or pushed shut, offers dripless pouring, and controls the flow rate. The spout also reduces the risk of aerosol contamination when pouring and eliminates splashing and exposure to hazardous body fluids. The handle is large enough to be gripped by the whole hand, is centrally located for balance and ease of manipulation, permits the pouring off of samples with ease, and reduces fatigue. Available in 3L or 4L sizes.

Patient identification labels provide a place to record information about the specimen. Patient instruction labels provide specific instructions for collecting a 24-hour urine specimen. CAUTION! labels read, “This bottle contains a strong preservative chemical. Do not breathe vapor. Do not spill or get on skin.”
