Sky Watcher SW 114N-EQ2 Telescope S11940 features the popular 114mm Netownian mirror, regarded as the minimum size truly useful for beginning astronomical studies. The GreatStart 114N-EQ2 imageis an excellent choice for an entry level telescope that can view distant objects with greater structural detail of deep-space objects.

Sky-Watcher GreatStart 114N-EQ2 features the famous optical quality that Sky Watcher is known for. Premium Plossl eyepieces utilize the 114N-EQ2 telescope to its full potential. An equatorial mount is aligned to the Earth's axis by pointing its polar axis to the North Star. This polar mount system allows for accurate aiming of notable objects in the sky.
