Sky Watcher SW 130N Telescopes make excellent entry level devices providing premium optical quality and plenty to get started. The 130mm diameter 130N Telescope provides sufficient light gatheringimage ability to observe deep space astronomical objects (which is best in a dark sky location away from city light). Sky Watcher 130mm Telescopes can easily see solar system objects within the city however.

Sky Watcher uses Grade-A glass to exacting demands of smoothness in the primary mirror, which is aluminized and coated with a hard protective layer of quartz. Sky Watcher 130N Telescope models come with premium Plossl eyepieces, which means superior quality that get the best performance the telescope can deliver.

SW 130N Telescopes by Sky Watcher include a solid equatorial mount, stable tripod, and slow-motion controls for precision manual tracking of sky objects. The telescope 's mount is aligned to the Earth's axis by pointing the polar axis to the North Star.
