The SpyderCo Puukko Fixed Blade Fine Edge Knife w/ Leather Sheath FB28WDP has been designed by Finnish knifemaker Pekke Tuominen who developed this knife for life in forested, outdoor environments where woodworking, hunting and fishingimage are daily chores. The Puukko blades on this Knife from Spyderco have a single curving cutting edge and a flat level spine with a rounded wood handle. Made of Arizonan Ironwood, the handle on the Spyder Co. Fixed Blade Puukko Knife is rounded ergonomically with a large radius at the top near the spine that tapers into a teardrop shape, becoming narrower at the bottom so the blade can be orientated in the hand, by feel. This SpyderCo Outdoor Knife comes with a Puukko sheath that is considered an equal component to the knife, designed to protect the blade and its' owner. The Spyder-Co Puukko Knife has a subtle ricasso which segues into a Plain Edge CPM S30V Scandinavian ground blade, where the handle and blade meet.
