Stellarvue 70mm SVR Raptor Telescope ED SVR70ED-RAPTOR has the distinction of being hand made like all other Stellarvue Telescopes. In addition this refracting telescope has excellent imagecolor correction as well as having extreme contrast. The outstanding black finish along with a carbon fiber body construction make it both lightweight and stylish. The Stellarvue Raptor SVR70 ED Raptor Telescope mounts to most camera tripods with the included Vixen Mini Rail Mount. Specifications for Stellarvue 70mm SVR Raptor Telescope SVR70ED:

Optical system:70mm clear aperture, 420mm focal length, hand figured, fully multicoated air spaced ED doublet objective
Tube:Carbon fiber
Dewshield:Carbon fiber 93mm diameter, 6" long with threaded cap.
Focuser:2" rotating, heavy duty, dual speed Crayford with 11-1 ratio, compression ring insert with 1.25" compression ring adapter. Threaded hole on focuser will accept F1001C, F2A or R50A Stellarvue finderscope bases.
Dimensions:11 3/4" long with dewshield retracted, 15.25" long when extended. Weight 4.75 lbs with mounting base attached
Mounting base:Aluminum mounting base (easily removed) using Vixen-type dovetail and two 1/4-20 threaded holes on bottom, 40mm apart.
Case:Airline ready travel case with handle and locks
