Specifications for Stellarvue 145 mm Telescope SVA145:

Objective:145 mm (5.7") clear aperture, 1050 mm focal length, air spaced, OK4 super ed, fully multicoated, edge blackened, high contrast, apochromat designed for the highest quality visual use and advanced photographic and ccd imaging
Lens mount:Temperature compensating, treated, push pull lens cell galvanized and/or chemically treated to eliminate corrosion.
Tube:Alcoa 6061-T6 aluminum tube, lathe turned for accuracy and weight reduction without flexure. Powder coated exterior with special textured, ultra flat black coating inside.
Light Baffles:knife edge light baffles installed according to the minimal baffle method to reduce reflection without vignetting.

Dew shield Dimension:8" diameter X 12" length
Overall Length:Approximately 31" with dew shield retracted, 8" longer when extended
Mounting Rings:Stellarvue hinged, cnc machined aluminum with rubber grip on knob, five threaded 1/4-20 holes top and bottom. Black anodized finish. The finest mounting rings on the market made in the USA.
Weight of Telescope without mount or tripod:Normally about 30 pounds but may be customized for lighter weight at no additional cost.
Optical Performance:True apochromatic performance in all production models meeting the technical criteria. The objective provides a wide, flat field, perfect star test and no false color. Rapid cool down time. Extremely high contrast full multi-coatings result in exceptional high contrast performance both visually and photographically.
Mechanical Performance:3.5" Feather Touch Focuser provides smooth, back lash free motion with adjustable tension mechanism. Will lift all eyepiece/camera systems commonly employed. May be customized at no additional charge to work with binoviewers without any optical correctors.
Case:Standard case is heavy duty, side reinforced, thickly padded nylon case. Optional Scopeguard case made to your specification also available.
