Stellarvue MG2 Geared Dual Mount Head Only Product Info

The Stellarvue MG2 Geared Dual Mount Head Only MG2 holds two telescopes side by side or a single astronomy telescope on one side. The Stellarvue telescopes do not have to be of equal weightimage since this is an isostatic mount with the center of gravity near the telescope position. This configuration improves damping time showing less vibration than one arm fork telescope mounts. Unlike other dual mounts in this size class, the telescope MG2 uses two precision worm gears for micro-metric slow motion control in each axis. The stellarvue mount comes with threaded mounting holes that are 1.5" apart on either side. One TPMG mounting plate is included. For quick release, add the spring-loaded dovetail shoes on one or both sides. Use the TD2 telescope shoe if your telescope uses a Vixen rail or a TD7 shoe if your telescope uses a Losmandy style rail.
